Your Garden Arbor Entry-Way
If you
are trying to find a way to separate sections of
your yard from one another, you may want to
consider using a garden arbor to designate your
entry-way.
The garden arbor walk-through opening can be
built according to your specifications, can be
used for a relaxation spot, and will add to the
appeal of your yard.
When you decide to use a garden arbor for your
entry-way, you may want to decide if you would
like the structure to be more than a simple
entry-way. If building the arbor yourself or
having someone build it for you, you will have
the option to customize it to your
specification. For example, many are
approximately four feet in width. However, if
you would like, you can change the design to
incorporate a six-foot width. This depends upon
how much use you feel your garden arbor may get
at any one point.
As you are planning the design of your garden
arbor entry-way, you may want to also consider
if it may be used as a place of relaxation. If
you are using the arbor to separate one section
of the garden from another, you may find
yourself wishing you had someplace to sit down
and enjoy the views of your garden area. When
designing your garden arbor, you may want to
change the depth of your arbor to include enough
room for a small seating area. You can put the
seats on the inside of the arbor or you can also
place them on the sides of the arbor. This will
give one the opportunity to sit and relax in
your garden.
The garden arbor entry-way can also be purchased
or built with a gate. This will add to the
appeal of the arbor as a separation of two
areas. The gate can be one that locks or simply
swings shut behind someone. This will all depend
on where you are placing it and what you are
using it to separate. The main thing is that the
gate will add to the atmosphere you are trying
to create.
What is important to remember when using the
garden arbor as an entry-way, you do not have to
use it for just a walk-through entry. It can be
used to grow ivy in your garden or growing
grapes and flowers. The arbor itself can be used
as a relaxation spot and does not have to be
just an entry-way to another section in your
garden.
